Intelligent Golf Match System

In 2023 the Tiverton Vets Section will be trialling the use of the I.G. (Intelligent Golf) system to select players for the friendly matches. If you are used to putting your name down for competitions using I.G., then you should not have a problem setting your availability for matches.

Our intention is to get as many vets involved in the friendlies as possible this season and give everyone an equal chance to play.

All of the 2025 friendly matches are already set up so you can set your availability for any match now.

Should circumstances change, you can always change your availability before the team is picked.

• Three weeks before the match we will pick the team from those that have said they are available, and email all those available to to check that they are still available.

• In the week before the match I will send a reminder email to the team.

Once the initial team has been picked, you will be able to see the latest pairings and order of play on the website/App right up to the day of the match.
After the match, the results will be visible on the matches page by selecting "Previous Results"

The first step is to Join the “Tiv. Vets Friendlies” Squad.

N.B. You can only join this squad if you are male and over 60.

Once you have joined the squad, you can then set your availability for each match.

This can be done either from the club website on your phone using the I.G. App
